C. Eligibility
The competition is open to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni of SBC, as well as the general public. We warmly invite all interested individuals to participate and join us in celebrating this new chapter of excellence for the college.
D. Deadline
Submission Deadline: February 28, 2026, 17:00 (China Standard Time). Late submissions will not be considered.
E. Requirements
1. To maintain brand consistency, submitted designs must incorporate the letters SBC as featured in our current logo.
2. Entries should reflect profound historical significance, distinct contemporary characteristics, and rich cultural symbolism representative of both China and the UK. Designs should be striking, artistically creative, and visually compelling.
3. Any text used in the design should be presented in both Chinese and English.
4. Shortlisted designs should embody the College's vision, mission, educational philosophy, and highlight its strong collaborative ties in China and UK education.
5. The design must be practical for various applications, ensuring clear and effective reproduction and display across both digital and print media, including promotional materials and souvenirs.
6. Format Requirements: Submitted entries for the SBC 20th Anniversary logo must include: An A4 size black and white version; An A4 size color version (indicating CMYK color values); An electronic version (in vector formats such as AI or EPS, or layered file formats such as TIF or PSD with a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi or higher); A design concept description or explanatory notes (maximum 300 words) submitted via the entry form.
F. Submission
Please package your design work and relevant files and email them to the Public Relations and Marketing Department at pr-mkt@sbc.usst.edu.cn . Use the email subject line: SBC 20th Anniversary VI Design Submission. Please include your name, affiliation/organization, and contact number in the email. If the compressed file exceeds 10MB, please do not send it as an attachment; instead, use a cloud storage service to generate a shareable link and include the link in your email.
G. Awards
SBC will convene an expert panel to evaluate entries and select the finalists and winners. The competition awards include: One (1) First Prize, Two (2) Second Prizes, and Three (3) Third Prizes. Winners will receive a certificate and an award. All winning designs will be announced publicly via the College's official channels.
H. Copyrights
1. All submissions must be original, unpublished works. Any form of plagiarism or infringement of third-party intellectual property rights is strictly prohibited. Entries found to violate this rule will be disqualified, and the submitter shall bear all legal liabilities arising therefrom.
2. The complete copyright and all related rights to the award-winning works will belong exclusively to the Sino-British College, USST. The College holds the permanent right to modify the winning designs and use them freely for its promotional purposes (including for the 20th-anniversary activities). No individual (including the submitters) or organization may use these works without the written consent of the Sino-British College, USST.
3. All submitters should retain copies of their original work. The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any damage or loss of entries during the submission process.
4. By participating in this competition, submitters acknowledge that they have fully read, understood, and accepted all the terms and conditions outlined in this announcement.
5. The Sino-British College, USST reserves the right of final interpretation of all rules and details pertaining to this event and the right to adjust or cancel the event based on actual circumstances.
