The 2015 Year 3 Events Management Live Event Festival

For Sino-British College students, the Live Event Festival is no doubt the best time of the year: a time when Year 3 Events Management students run a range of exciting events on campus. We are very excited to announce that the 2015 Live Event Festival will run from April 7 to April 17. For these two weeks, Year 3 Events Management students will host 14 different campus activities ranging from individual and team competition to a carnival and food festival. In April, the spring air and sunshine allow for many outdoor activities increasing the diversity of the live events. This year’s festival will bring with it more sporting contests like SBC Colour Run, Bingo Run and Walk of Life.What is special about the Events Management programme at SBC in particular is that the students learn a number of transferrable skills that they can take to any industry. Those skills include flexibility, working in teams, organisational skills, the ability to speak different languages, and the ability to be independent learners.All students in Years 3 and 4 have to put on a number of events on and off campus. In order to stage these events successfully, the students need to work very well in teams and also to be very organised and to have good presentation skills.
