On 19 June 2026, the Shanghai regional final of the China-US Young Maker Competition was held at “Shanghai Silicon Alley.” CAI Hui, Associate Dean and Deputy Party Secretary of SBC, was invited to attend the awards ceremony. SBC students secured one grand prize, one first prize, three second prizes, and five third prizes, setting a new record for the College in total awards. The grand prize-winning team will represent Shanghai at the national finals of the 2026 China-US Young Makers Competition, marking the fourth consecutive year that SBC has advanced a team to the national stage.
