In order to further build a platform for school-enterprise cooperation, broaden students' employment and internship channels, and enhance students' workplace competence, the Career Services and Development Department (CSD) of the College invited MCI Group (China) (hereinafter referred to as MCI) to hold a campus recruitment presentation on the evening of April 11th at theInnovation and Entrepreneurship Centre on the third floor of the teaching building. The presentation was primarily aimed at the graduating class of 2025, with Zhang Jian, Director of Human Resources and Administration of MCI, Wang Yanwen, Director of the BIU Department, Wang Yang, Deputy Director of the CD Department, and Du Beilin, Operations Director of the CPO Department, along with HR Manager Yang Le as the main guest speaker. The presentation was hosted by Liu Hao, CSD Consultant, and more than thirty students attended the event.
Firstly, Zhang Jian introduced the basic situation of the company, the current situation, and development trends of the exhibition industry to the students. Subsequently, Du Beilin, Wang Yanwen, and Wang Yang shared content respectively on post-pandemic exhibition offline activities case studies, the practical application of AI in exhibitions and business analysis, and association and summit professional sharing, demonstrating the charm and broad prospects of the exhibition industry to the students. In addition, the three guests also introduced internship positions open for recruitment in their respective departments and invited students to apply.
After the presentation, the participating students gained a lot. Shi Yuxin, a freshman in Events Management, said that for Year 1 and Year 2 students, this was a great opportunity for everyone to understand the development trends of the exhibition industry earlier and to clarify their development direction and goals during university. Liu Guanghua, a junior in Events Management, believed that MCI Exhibition Company is an international company, and this presentation broadened students' international perspective in the exhibition industry, laying a solid foundation for seniors planning to graduate employment in the future.
This presentation aims to provide students with a face-to-face platform with enterprises, assist students in starting their career planning, and enhance their workplace competence. At the same time, this event also laid a solid foundation for deep cooperation between the college and enterprises. In the future, CSD will continue to strengthen cooperation with enterprises, providing students with more high-quality practical opportunities and career development resources.
