Single Bachelor Degree Programme
To understand the Single Bachelor Degree Programme of SBC, There are two things we need clarify at the first.
What does PATHWAY mean at SBC?

Tips:
The difference between 4+0 and 3+0 is the entry year of applicant entering into SBC, if she/he enters into SBC year 1 then the pathway is 4+0 but if it’s SBC year 2 then the pathway is 3+0. This rule also applies to pathway of 2+2(1+2).
What kind of courses will you learn in the first 1 or 2 years at SBC?

SBC’s International Foundation Year is organized and accredited by the educational charity NCUK. When you complete NCUK’s International Foundation Certificate in Business or Engineering you will have achieved a strong grounding in British University education with a qualification that is accepted across the world. You will also be automatically enrolled into one of SBC’s Single Bachelor Degree Programmes. | |

In both Business and Engineering, SBC’s degree year is organized and accredited b NCUK. Students successfully completing this year are guaranteed a place at one of SBC’s UK partner Universities or a place on one of SBC’s bachelor degree programmes delivered entirely in Shanghai. | |
For international applicants of 4+0 (3+0) pathway, there are four majors are available to choose from.

For international applicants of 2+2 (1+2) pathway there are more than 40 majors you can apply for within 8 of SBC’s UK partner universities.
Dual Degree Programme
Starting in September 2020, SBC and USST are offering students a fantastic and unique opportunity to earn both a British degree and a Chinese degree. If international students have a strong desire to learn Chinese they can be dual enrolled. This means that after four years of study at SBC, students can earn both a British degree certificate from either the University of Huddersfield, Liverpool John Moores University or Sheffield Hallam University, and a Chinese degree certificate from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (USST).
SBC and USST will provide Chinese lessons and language learning equipment to all students enrolled on a dual degree programme. If students are unable to achieve a Chinese language level of HSK 4 they will not be eligible to graduate from USST. Students will be allowed a total of 6 years to achieve HSK 4. Should the student fail to do this they will still be able to graduate with a British degree.
