Human Resources & Compliance

The HR & Compliance team is committed to talent recruitment, management and cultivation, as well as providing services and support to each member of staff in the college. It also has responsibility for  compliance programs and ensuring the College’s operations comply with USST and SBC’s regulations and also the legal and regulatory requirements of Chinese authorities. On the basis of the College’s development strategy, the Human Resource Office has dedicated itself to establishing and improving upon talent acquisition plans and formulating a significant compensation and benefits policy and training system. It also utilizes equitable ways to appraise and manage staff performance and achievement. By assisting staff to make career development plans, the Human Resources Office endeavors to guarantee that each staff receives the position that is most appropriate for him/her in SBC and in that position is able to give full scope to their talent to achieve the desired and suitable career development path. 

The HR & Compliance team strives to provide high quality personnel services and support to all faculty members and staff; it heads initiatives and activities for workforce planning and organization development and actively manages the acquisition and retention of talents. It assists resourcefully overall management in developing and implementing SBC’s standard practice procedures. It aims to establish and reinforce a productive, efficient and friendly working environment with rich and diverse cultures.

Currently, the main function includes the following: Staff Recruitment; Payroll and Benefits; Foreign staff matters;Training and Employee Relations; Compliance.
