“2020 is an unusual year, not only impacts from COVID-19, but also change of our life…” On April 16th afternoon, the third series of “Scientific Research in Fuxing campus” was held in academic conference hall. Our student’s parent, Ms.Chen, who is also an excellent accounting professional of Shang, Expert of Shanghai Finance Bureau Financial Accounting Management Center, Shanghai employment service expert, visiting fellow of University of Warwick, came with lecture “Intelligence Lights up the Future”. It attracted hundreds of students, and hosted by Joyce Zhang, Head of Student Management.
Ms. Chen mentioned, during disease prevention, she tried online business for first time. Combining with five advanced technical words “Big data, Art Intelligence, Mobile Internet, Internet of thing,Cloud computing”, she used several example, like pilotless automobile, Alpha Go, Digital Currency Electronic Payment, 5G, etc., to let students know that technology is changing our life, industrial transformation will also bring us new opportunities.
Then, a video about ‘financial robot’ was showed. “Currently, many work can be finished by financial robots, the workload of six people a day has been reduced to four hours.” She said, the trend of digital development is appearing in many field, hope that students can seize the opportunities and devote themselves in scientific research during university life.
What kind of people is needed by society? Ms. Chen told to our students, from a finance person's perspective, the entry-level requires work ethic, focus, and commitment. After entering intermediate and senior level, logical thinking, communication and cooperation, strategic planning and leadership are required respectively. At the same time, people who want to be intelligent need to have the ability of innovation, information integration, coordination and communication, and professional judgment.
The lecture brought students a lot of harvest, then they asked question about career one by one for better career planning.
