On April 28th, ZHAO Xinli, Dean of Hainan International College; JIN Xuetao, General Party Branch Secretary of Hainan International College, Dean of Faculty of International Media and relevant staff visited SBC. SHAN Yanguang, Vice-Dean of SBC, XU Lin, Deputy Secretary of General Party Branch of SBC, Associate Dean of Administration of SBC and representatives from Student Management, Registry, Human Resources & Compliance, and Public Relations & Marketing attended the meeting.
Before the meeting, Laura Bishop, Principal of SBC warmly welcomed the visitors, and sent her best wishes.
SHAN Yanguang introduced USST and SBC’s history, education, student recruitment, career development, etc. He mentioned, we should continually explore applied student cultivation mode, keep connections about management organisation, subject setting, course system, evaluation system, teaching management, and other aspects with outstanding international university, then, the education level and ability will be promoted and experience will be applied.
XU Lin introduced our major, academic study, etc. She expressed that after 15 years, advanced and international education theories were created based on USST’s resource. Through university-enterprise cooperation, resource sharing, we made breakthrough on student cultivation.
ZHAO Xinli and JIN Xuetao expressed their grateful for the treat and introduced their Sino-foreign education projects. In their view, SBC’s global education is impressive, and hopefully, they can study useful experiences in this visit.
In the meeting, they had deep discussion on education construction, academic team, education revolution, etc.
After the meeting, they had a campus tour in SBC.
