We are fortunate to have a couple of professionals from the catering industry and wine importers in Shanghai willing to share their experience with our Event Catering module students (Events Management)!
On April 22nd, Mila Pape (Russia) from Ventisquero Wine Estates came with a sharing class in Tea Room. She has worked in the wine industry for the last six years. Previously with Magnum Wines, premium French wine importer where she worked with sommelier of high-dining restaurants in Shanghai and Beijing organizing events for restaurants & corporate clients.
Currently Mila works with Ventisquero Wine Estates (Chilean Winery). She is in charge of private sales and distributor’s network, as well as looking for new importers for the wine group.
Mila shared various types of wines, basics in wine tasting and wine/food pairing. Daniel Sdrigotti, Lecturer of Events Management gave his comments, “It was a very nice session, students asked very good questions although a bit early for wine tasting as you can imagine. Overall great learning experience and a nice fit into the Event catering module.”
