Donation Ceremony of the Sino-British College-USST Alumni Development Fund

On March 21st afternoon, Donation Ceremony of the Sino-British College-USST Alumni Development Fund was held in T201, Fuxing Road campus, alumni council representative and graduate representative; MENG Baoquan, Director of Alumni Affairs Office, Director of Foundation Office of USST; WANG Yang, Deputy Director; SHAN Yanguang, Vice-Dean of SBC; XU Lin, Deputy Secretary of General Party Branch of SBC, Associate Dean of Administration of SBC attended. Eric JIN, Secretary General of Alumni hosted, and XU Lin gave the welcome speech.

SHAN Yanguang accepted the first Alumni Development Fund, and issued certificate of donation with WANG Yang.

Then, President of Alumni Family, LI Bo gave a speech. He said, with SBC’s support and effort of everyone, we keep closed relationship with alumni in the past two year. The start of Alumni Development Fund means a new start of alumni work. In the future, we will further explore alumni resource and power to push new cooperation mode to help SBC and students.

Finally, MENG Baoquan made summarize speech. He congratulated the foundation of Alumni Development Fund, and sent his grateful. He said, alumni work is an important way to deepen the integration of industry and education and the cooperation between university and enterprises. With this chance, he hopes that we can further carry out work, give full play to the active role of alumni in the discipline development, talent training, etc. At the same time, it can do a more comprehensive and practical job in the service of alumni, increase the connection between graduates and SBC to create a good situation.

After the ceremony, attendants had a deep discussion about future development of Alumni Family.

Sino-British College-USST Alumni Development Fund is an important part to celebrate 15th anniversary. The current development of alumni showed SBC’s education achievement. This ceremony also means a better connection to improve alumni work, then make contribution to joint development.
