She is minister of campus news centre, the league branch secretary of the class, debate team member… She plays different role in her university life, she is MEI Jiarong, a 2019 student majoring Event Management.
“Do not fear failure, everything is a valuable experience”
In the beginning of Year 1, MEI hosted the opening ceremony in English as a new student. After witnessing the whole preparation process, she believed that it is essential to seize each opportunity and every moment.
“So I started to join in different activity, like chorus competition,art troupe, theatre volunteering, summer project, etc.”
“The original intention to joining in the news centre is interest, assuredly the harvest is far more than expected.”
Upcoming activity, support, communication, every part of her work is careful and detailed. For her, it is a unique chance to do practice, which make her keep enthusiasm and patience to every new field.
“Dream should not be limited.”
In her spare time, she joins the debate team. “I work hard because of my highly interest on debating, then I grow up from a common team member to a leader.”
In the 2020 Chinese Debate World Cup, MEI was responsible for docking work so that she received an internship offer in the activity sponsor. Additionally, she also served as chair of the tournament, “Nearly 60,000 view counts, I felt not only nervous and excited, but also patient and responsible.”
Apart from that, she will listen lectures or open course in Fudan University and other universities to expand her knowledge; and join in robotex conference, and other forum to make her life become wonderful.
