On 28th January 2021, a meeting was held for the announcement of college executive responsibilities changes. CAI Yonglian, Vice President of USST and relevant staff attended the meeting. SUN Hong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Minister of the Organization Department of the Party Committee hosted.
XIE Xihao from CPC organization department read out the decision about new college executive responsibilities: Professor SHAN Yanguang will be the new Vice-Dean of SBC, and XU Lin will be the new Deputy Secretary of General Party Branch of SBC. LIU Qin’s position had been cancelled.
In the meeting, SHAN Yanguang expressed his grateful for the support and trust of USST’s Party Committee, and contribution made by SBC’s college executive. He said, for better development, he will adapt this position as soon as possible, and improve his ability on problem solving and working methods.
XU Lin said, it is an honour to be Deputy Secretary of General Party Branch of SBC. She will strive to do a good job in the new position; keep learning, practice, understanding, and constantly improve the theoretical and political literacy to promote the Party building work in SBC.
LIU Qin expressed her feeling on the work experience in SBC and grateful to everyone’s contribution. She believes that under the leadership of the new college executive, we will start again and achieve new development. It is hoped that the SBC will further enhance the communication with other colleges in USST, so as to reflect the advanced international education experience to USST.
LI Yan said, thanks to LIU Qin’s contribution, and congratulations to SHAN Yanguang and XU Lin. She mentioned, SBC’s achievement in these years cannot leave college executive’s hard work. In the future, we will keep unity and realize new breakthrough, for better development of USST.
Finally, CAI Yonglian made a speech. She highly recognized the contribution of LIU Qin, and said that LIU Qin always keep passion, responsibility, and steady. She emphasized, in the beginning of “14th Five-Year Plan”, we are standing in a new start so that we should fully play our advantages and create new situation. The new college executive must keep down-to-earth and cooperation, further improve our international level, and push a new step.
After the meeting, the new executive had more discussion about SBC’s development.
