On 20th November, a fire drill was held at SBC. SHAO from Shanghai Fire Brigade guided the training. Laura Bishop, Principal of SBC and LI Yan, Party Secretary of SBC attended the event with nearly 500 students and staff to learn about fire-prevention.
A fire alarm and synthetic smoke appeared at 3:30p.m. The volunteers arrived promptly and then guided the escape in quick time. They had a memorable fire drill and fire test escape with fire extinguisher practice.
Professor Laura Bishop gave her suggestions that we should pay special attention to fire prevention. The activity was helpful to learn how to enhance our self-protection.
LI Yan summarised that the fire drill will definitely promote campus safety, and increase our attentions to fire prevention. Living on a campus with many, we must put to safety first, keep vigilant and follow regulations.
