On 24th November, WU Jianyong, Secretary of the Party Committee of USST visited SBC accompanied by LIU Bin, Director of Party Committee Office and ZHU Qiaxiao, Deputy Director. LI Yan, Party Secretary of SBC; LIU Qin, Vice-Dean of SBC; XU Lin, Associate Dean of Administration of SBC attended the meeting. CAI Yonglian, Vice President of USST, Dean of SBC hosted the meeting.
Before the meeting, Professor Laura Bishop, Principal of SBC warmly welcomed the visitors.
In the meeting, the delegation of SBC reported the issues from work and key takeaways of the next work with the theme of ‘Break through difficulties and accelerate development’. They provided their suggestions on sustainable development, education mode, creation management, etc.
WU Jianyong gave his recognition on SBC’s achievement and suggestions on SBC development.
WU Jianyong emphasized that the aim of the visit is to find approaches to assisting SBC’s development. He also mentioned his requirements on education work that refining the innovation of curriculum and politics of Chinese-foreign courses, and keep working on ideology and politics education. Also further clarifying education orientation, innovate development philosophy, and maintain distinctive advantages.
Before the meeting, the visitors had a campus tour of SBC.
