We welcomed our Freshers to the Sino-British College, USST on 20th September, 2020, both single honours and dual degree students.
The arrival of new students brought the Fuxing Road Campus back to life. Before enrolment started at 8:00am, there was a queue of students and their parents waiting at the front gate! After infection control checks, the new students came onto campus to register and check in to their accommodation.
On the day, LI Yan, Party Secretary of SBC, Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee, Fuxing Road Campus; LIU Qin, Vice-Dean of SBC; and XU Lin, Associate Dean of Administration of SBC inspected the work in the enrolment office, teaching building and askeded about the new students’ registration. Throughout, the SBC leaders warmly welcomed new students so that they felt at home in this new environment.
A Fresher told us ‘2020 is a special year and a most difficult in middle school; finally I am starting my new study life that I have always been expecting. The campus is busy, and I will study hard here.’
The new student enrolment work was specific in SBC. Our other students were extremely positive and enthusiastic as volunteers, which impressed the new students’ parents. We hope that our new students can devote themselves to their new study life with the same enthusiasm.
