Industry-Academic Cooperation Leading Development--Harsom Front Visited SBC with three companies

On 9th July afternoon, HAN Tao, the General Manager of Harsom Front, alongside with XU Feng from LEIA Inc, WEI Jingjing from TUNICORN Technology, and XIONG Bin from Dilemu Education visited SBC to discuss the Industry links. LI Yan, Party Secretary of SBC, Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee, Fuxing Road Campus; XU Lin, Associate Dean of Administration of SBC; TANG Yuling, Head of Registry; and Elva Chen, Student Tutor, Innovation and Entrepreneurship education Commissioner attended the meeting, XU Lin hosted the meeting.

XU Lin welcome to them on behalf of SBC. Furthermore, she introduced SBC from several perspectives: the development process, education mode, education concept, education achievement, achievement on innovation and entrepreneurship. She emphasized that there is a new development stage of Chinese higher education and industry-academic cooperation is a significant part for high-quality education. She proposed the vision that both sides will take students as the core, jointly explore and innovate cooperation models, and cultivate more applied, compound talents.

During this meeting, delegations from the four companies watched the videos about SBC’s education ideal and atmosphere and paid high tribute to that. Moreover, they respectively introduced their companies.They expressed the hope to strengthen the cooperation with SBC in collaborative education and jointly establish a high-level cultivation base. They also mentioned that students who work hard with potentials will have suitable internship or job opportunities with the further development of industry-academic cooperation.The two sides exchanged in-depth views on industry-academic cooperation, industry development, talent selection and innovation competition,etc.

LI Yan summarized that SBC will always keep students’ employment orientations. She expressed the visionsonthe promotion of the industry-academic cooperation.It is necessary to take the high technology from enterprises into the class and help students improving their practice ability through the methods of class constructions, resource sharing, project practice, etc.
