On 13th July, SU Haojiong, Headmaster of Shanghai Chuneng Middle School (one of USST’s affiliated high school) visited SBC. XU Lin, Associate Dean of Administration of SBC hosted the meeting. Joseph XU, Facilities & LRC Supervisor also attended the meeting.
In the meeting, XU Lin introduced the education reform and construction achievements of innovation and entrepreneurship.She also showed SBC's teaching achievement onscientific research education in recent years through some videos. Consequently, she mentioned that the subject combination between engineering and business benefits students’comprehensive abilities. SBC encourages students to engage in different competitionsbecause the competition is a way to stimulate students’ potentials. “Most of SBC lecturers have teaching experiences in overseas so that their teaching methods are diverse, which is one of the reasons why SBC students are very creative”, XU Lin said. Ssubsequently, she introduced the Innovation Leadership Centre, robot course and innovation laboratory that Headmaster SU showed great interest in.

In order to deepen the impression of SBC’s innovation and entrepreneurship atmosphere on Headmaster SU and his team, after the meeting, XU Lin invited them to visit robot community, which shows SBC students’ innovation passion.
Both sides look forward to reaching more cooperations and providing more practice for students in the future so that the middle-school students have the opportunity to enter a universityand theuniversity will help the middle school.
