Our alumni family is very important with SBC and we like to stay in touch with our many successful graduates. For example, LUO Kun, is the General Manager of Shanghai Weijia Purification Science and Technology Ltd., a Council Member of SBC Alumni Family, and a 2014 Manufacturing Systems Engineering graduate. On June 24th he hosted an informative visit by MENG Baoquan, Director of the Alumnus office of USST; LI Yan, Party Secretary of SBC, Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee, Fuxing Road Campus and other SBC staff to the Shanghai Weijia Purification Science and Technology Ltd.
The visitors toured the site and viewed products such as purifiers and intelligent supplies systems and discussed many topics including cooperation between SBC and enterprises, talent cultivation and career services for 2020 graduates. MENG Baoquan said that the outstanding achievements and the great potential of his company reflect the creative ability of SBC students and graduates, supporting the business and its products to bring a better and healthier life for people. Then MENG Baoquan introduced the cooperative resources between SBC and enterprises, innovation and entrepreneurship in SBC, the alumnus platform and preparation for the establishment of the Alumni Enterprise Service Centre, where he hopes that alumni can connect with SBC and continue to help the development of SBC.
LI Yan thanked Shanghai Weijia Purification Science and Technology Ltd for the employment opportunities for SBC students and graduates. She introduced the achievement of innovation and entrepreneurship at SBC. She said SBC students and graduates have creative thinking abilities so that, hopefully, there will be more cooperation in the future.
LUO Kun expressed confidence in SBC’s future, and he said he will fully support alumnus employment opportunities.
