On April 21st SBC was honoured by a visit of representatives of the innovative technology company Harsom Front. The visitors included HAN Tao, the General Manager of Harsom Front with the Vice-General Manager, CHEN Kelong and the Operations Manager, ZHOU Jiadong. They were welcomed to SBC by LI Yan, Party Secretary of SBC and Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee, Fuxing Road Campus, Professor LIU Qin,Vice-Dean of SBC and XU Lin, Associate Dean for Administration SBC.
Harsom Front is engaged in industrial robototics, intelligent manufacturing, non-standard automation of production lines, teaching equipment research and development, Internet technology research and development and the internet of things. Harsom Front is located in the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone. In the educational setting, Harsom Front mainly provides services including cloud education, curriculum development, intelligent manufacturing, intelligent factory, university-enterprise cooperation and other services for universities and enterprises.
Professor LIU Qin, Vice-Dean of SBC warmly welcomed the representatives and introduced the development of SBC over recent years. She explained how, through the “one-to-many collaboration model, SBC has made significant achievements in contributing to education and teaching reforms, in innovating student development, and in improving the quality of the application of knowledge for students. She expressed the ambition of SBC that co-operation with Harsom Front will further contribute to these goals.
XU Lin, Associate Dean of Administration of SBC described the academic disciplines at SBC, the academic team and the student development for innovation & entrepreneurship.She illustrated how university-enterprise cooperation projects help to accelerate new business and new engineering, promoting the development of students and also cultivating internationalisation, for applied and innovative students meeting the needs of industry and industrial development.
LI Yan, Party Secretary of SBC, Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee, Fuxing Road Campus expressed that university-enterprise cooperation can actively promote educational enhancement, whilst strengthening academic disciplines, developing cooperation in managing colleges, and stimulating students to study think and creatively.

The creative talent at SBC is in-line with the company ambitions, and he anticipated significant cooperation between SBC and his enterprise.The company's technological development and the changes in the wider industry lead to a demand for more excellent graduates.
The meeting acknowledged the model of industry-academic cooperation, collaborative education，and the future development of cooperation projects. After the meeting, the visitors toured the college campus to view and understand the range of facilities at SBC.
