Senior staff of SBC were pleased to welcome a health delegation of Xuhui district on the morning of April 7th. The delegation included YU Donghang, an inspector of Xuhui Education Bureau; LIN Chen, deputy director of Xuhui Education Bureau; WANG Lan, YANG Fan from the Xuhui Health Commission; MA Danyu, deputy director of the studies office; XU Weiqi from the Centre for Disease Control and Prevention; DONG Ming, deputy director of Tianping Street Office; LIN Fenghui, managing vice president of the Community Development Office, and YIN Yarong from the Community Development Office. The visitors were hosted by SHAO Rong from the Logistic Affairs Department, USST; LI Yan, the Party Secretary of SBC and Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee, Fuxing Road Campus; Professor LIU Qin, the Vice-Dean of SBC and XU Lin, Associate Dean of Administration of SBC.
LI Yan and SHAO Rong described SBC’s disease control and prevention, including preventative measures, checking circulation areas, our contact with overseas students and lecturers, quarantine area, materials management, etc.
After listening to the introduction and inspecting each area, we are pleased that the delegation approved SBC’s infection control and prevention work. The delegation also required that, before the college campus re-opens, SBC fully investigates the recent travels of all students and staff; make some improvements to the campus built environment and and undertake anti-viral cleansing regularly.
Speaking for SBC, LI Yan undertook that SBC will follow these requirements and continuously adopt and enhance strict infection management measures on campus. These measures will include temperature monitoring, eating separately and recording and recording all people entering and leaving campus.
