The Dean of Huddersfield Business School, Prof Jill Johnes, paid her first visit to SBC on 5th December. The University of Huddersfield is one of the NCUK partner universities with SBC and the Huddersfield BA Events Management programme is amongst the degrees available to study in English at our USST campus in the heart of Shanghai.
In discussions with Prof Laura Bishop, Principal of SBC, Dr Lee Henderson, Head of SBC’s School of Business and Management and Alastair Balchin, Director of External Engagement at SBC, Prof Johnes explored ways to make connections between students in Huddersfield and in Shanghai including learning collaboratively on-line and internships.
After the meeting, Prof Johnes enjoyed a tour of the campus with undergraduates Fang Jiaqi and Zhang Shuyang. Prof Johnes was accompanied during her visitor by Sarah LI, Huddersfield’s Manager for East Asia.
