On 15th May, the Psychological Counsellors Alliance Seminar and Shanghai College Teachers’ Psychological Knowledge Final Contest was successfully held in SBC. The contest was jointly organized by Shanghai Student Mental Health Education Development Centre, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, National Social Psychological Service System Construction Office, Health Committee of Yangpu District, and Mental Health Centre of Yangpu District. After the selection of various institutions, a total of 24 contestants from 12 institutions reached the finals.
Dr. Sheng Chun, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of Disciplinary Committee, USST, expressed a warm welcome on behalf of the college. He pointed out that USST attaches great importance to mental health education, and teachers' mental health is a significant part of mental health education of higher learning.
The contest was divided into five parts, including mandatory questions of round 1, quick response questions, mandatory questions of round 2, risk questions and keynote speeches. After fierce competition, finally, Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences won the first prize, East China Normal University and Shanghai Jiaotong University won the second prize, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine won the third prize. Eight institutions, including Donghua University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences, Shanghai Polytechnic University, Shanghai University of Medicine & Health Sciences, Shanghai Urban Construction Vocational College, and Yangpu District Mental Health Centre won the Outstanding Organization Award. Donghua University harvested the Best Popularity Award.
