On April 25, Dr Bin Gao from Liverpool John Moores University, who was accompanied by Sarah Schiffling, Lecturer from LJMU, Angela Bowdery, Lecturer from LJMU, with more than 20 student representatives visited SBC. Professor Laura Bishop, Principal of SBC, extended a warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of SBC.
Professor Laura Bishop invited the delegation to visit the buildings and facilities, and engage in a management accounting class taught by Dr Lee Henderson, Senior lecturerand Programme Leader of School of Business and Management of SBC.
After the visit, Andy Ritchie, Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader, School of Business and Management of SBC, invited the delegation to have a cultural exchange in SBC Tearoom.
Andy Ritchie said, “This is an exciting initiative and it was really interesting to see both domestic and international SBC students communicating face-to-face with students from one of our partner universities. We look forward to welcoming future mentors from LJMU and even hope other partner universities will follow suit.”
Dr Bin Gao said that he was deeply impressed by the internationalization mode of SBC and SBC achievements. He hoped that with this visit as an opportunity, he will continue to promote the in-depth communication between the universities and colleges as well as the cooperation in running schools and the cultural exchanges between both teachers and students.
