Ms. Xu Lin, Associate Dean of Administration of SBC, visited Queen Mary University of London Engineering School (QMES) for survey and communication On April 25. Kong Jie, Dean of QMES , and Chen Jun, Vice Dean of QMES, met with Ms. Xu in the conference room. Related staffs participated in the Symposium.
Mr Kong extended a warm welcome to Ms. Xu and he introduced the college of history, institutional framework, party building and future plans of QMES, and he also explained the current status of the joint research institute and the International Teaching and Research Center. Mr. Chen Jun briefly introduced student recruitment work and student management of QMES. Ms. Xu introduced the college background, professional settings, and teaching operation of SBC.
Following the introduction, the delegation engaged in wide-ranging discussions concerning opportunities in cooperation between the two institutions in future.
Ms. Xu expressed great gratitude for the welcome. She put forward that Queen Mary University of London Engineering School has a clear demonstration of its high-level faculty construction and curriculum re-engineering planning. Mr. Kong highly recognized the success achieved by SBC in providing students with a truly international learning environment, and they hoped that the two institutions can strengthen their links in the future so as to improve their international education level.
After the conference, Mr. Kong invited Ms. Xu to visit the innovative laboratory, student dormitories, academic lecture hall, and academic seminar rooms.
