On April 17, Ma Jianrong, Vice President of Zhejiang Wanli University, with his colleagues visited SBC.
A meeting was held by the representatives with senior colleagues from SBC, Professor Laura Bishop, Principal of SBC, Gordon Callan, Head of the School of Languages, Education and Culture, Andy Ritchie, Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader, Tony Ryan, Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader, and Tang Yuling, Head of Registry.
Professor Laura Bishop extended a warm welcome to the official on behalf of SBC and briefly introduced the running schools, innovative talent training and student achievements of SBC. Ma Jianrong briefed the history, teaching mode and student situation of Zhejiang Wanli University.
Following the meeting, the delegation engaged in in-depth discussions about international talent training, introduction of high-quality teachers in foreign universities, and how to conduct Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools with world-class universities.
After the meeting, Ma Jianrong and his colleagues visited the student development center and had a cordial talk with the students in the student society “Actor”.
The delegation of Zhejiang Wanli College highly recognized the international education resources and beautiful campus of SBC. Ma Jianrong said that he hopes the two colleges will promote in-depth cooperation on joint training of talents, scientific research and innovation, exchange of teachers, discipline construction, foreign exchange and cooperation, as well as broaden cooperation areas and complement each other’s advantages.
