On April 12, teachers and students delegation from Coventry University came to SBC for a visit.
After they arrived at SBC, the delegation was invited to sightsee the campus and experience the facilities in SBC. At the SBC library, SBC student representatives gave a detail introduction to the library's historical and functional division. The quaint architectures and modern facilities make foreign friends refreshed, and attracted their great interest in Chinese books and Chinese culture.
Then, the delegation went to the Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center to visit the student societies and achievements in the Teaching Building. They involved in the outstanding student societies of SBC, including the "RoboVigor", "Actor" and "Starry Ink ", and gave highly praise on the innovations and achievements of SBC students.
You Shengjie, a sophomore of Business Management and the President of SBC student Union, gave a presentation on the SBC Student Union’s organization structure, and shared the students' social practice experiences to the delegation in the meeting room.
“By visiting the Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, I could see the efforts of SBC students to turn project ideas into fruits, and feel that every person in the team has fully developed their talents.” A Coventry University student said.
Coventry University has maintained a good cultural exchange relationship with University of Shanghai for Science and Technology for a long time. This visit is a great example to the point and we hope for more opportunities to engage with other high level universities and their students.
