On March 20th, the SBC Events Management Students held their EvM Live Event 2019 at one of the year’s most popular campus events. During the event, the Events Management students together with the social charity “SHANGHAI UNITED FOUNDATION”, actively cooperated and raised more than 7,000 yuan for the charity. These will be used to fund women, children, education, medical care, public welfare industry support, etc.

As one of the main coordinators of the event, Wang Yier, a junior student of  Events Management, said, “I am very pleased to have made my contribution to the charity through this event. The experience has also strengthened my own awareness of public welfare culture and social responsibility."

Kristy Reed, Lecturer of Event Management, who was responsible for the whole event, said, “SBC is very grateful to have the opportunity to support the charities with our events management students. Thanks for everyone’s efforts. The event was very successful and I am very proud of them."

SBC’s EvM Live Event Series will not only help the students of the event management to learn how to deal with and solve problems that may be encountered during the preparation of the event, but also promote the development of campus cultural activities and the further practice of public welfare culture on the university campus. What’s more, it attracts more college students to pay attention to public welfare activities and inherit the spirit of public welfare.
