Recently, "China’s Education Modernization 2035 plan” points out that we should develop a world-class higher education further opening to the outside world with Chinese Characteristics, in which the article 9, Establish A New Education Pattern for Opening To the Outside World, indicates the direction for the development of Sino-foreign cooperative education in the future.
Educational modernization is attracting more and more attention. As a practitioner of Sino-foreign cooperative universities, Professor Linda Liu, Vice-Dean of SBC, shared her opinions about opening the education to the world in an interview by the Deans’ Association of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation.
“The Sino-British College (SBC) has more than 10-year history. In the next step of development, it will keep to the fundamental task of talent cultivation to meet the economic and social development requirements of China and Shanghai, and the high-level university development requirements of USST. In addition, it will introduce high-quality educational resources from its companies in the UK, gather Chinese and foreign talents to improve the quality of the college, and work hard to build a Chinese-foreign cooperative education brand. ”

Focus on the quality of talent training

Opening the education to the outside world
