As part of SBC’s commitment to the successful placement of students in UK universities, representatives from our nine UK partner universities took part in the counselling mission held at SBC on March 12th and 13th 2019. Representatives from the Universities of Sheffield, Leeds, Bradford, Salford and Huddersfield were present, as well as those from  Leeds Beckett, Liverpool John Moores University, Manchester Metropolitan University and Sheffield Hallam University. During the event, they had a face-to-face communication with more than two hundred SBC  students , helping students learn more about courses, their entry requirements, and student life in the UK. Representatives from NCUK were also present.

For first time at this event, counselling was also offered to Y3 & Y4 students wishing to apply for master’s degree courses in the UK.

After the counselling mission, representatives from UK partner universities spoke highly of SBC students on their expression and attitude.

Professor Richard Hall from the school of Mechanical Engineering, University of Leeds, said, SBC students have excellent personal skills and pay great attention to their future career plans. I also enjoy this opportunity to have an in-depth exchange with the staff and students of SBC and representatives of other UK universities.”

Professor Alastair Wood, Associate Dean of External affairs, University of Bradford, said, “We are delighted to have received many enquiries from Y3&Y4 students on applying for the master’s degree in UK universities.
