To celebrate the annual Arbor Day and promote the notions of social responsibility and environmental protection, a tree planting event was organised by USST Logistics Departmen and SBC Facilities Department on 12th March.
Qu Deqiang, Director of logistics of USST, Professor Laura Boishop, Principal of SBC, Li Yan, Party Secretary of SBC, Secretary of the Joint General Party Branch, Fuxing campus and Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee, Fuxing Campus, together with SBC staff joined this event.
Some plant seeds had been prepared by the Facilities staff and each department was invited to own a piece of field on the day, to make a new home for their plants.
Party Secretary Li Yan said “Green Campus is always what SBC focuses on. We plan to organize the activity so that more staff can be involved in green campus development, enhancing the awareness of environmental protection and ecology. ”
