Professor Linda Liu, Vice-Dean of SBC and the SBC Registry department received awards at The International Women's Day Ceremony at USST

The international women's day 109th anniversary awards ceremony was held at USST on March 8th. Senior colleagues from USST, representatives of outstanding women workers, 2017-2018 “March 8th” red-banner pace-setter (collectives), heads of each administrative department, party secretaries of each school, chairmen of the labor union, all members of the women workers’ committee in USST, and representatives of teachers and students attended the ceremony. Zhang Aiyang, vice chairman of the labor union of USST and deputy director of the women workers’ committee of USST, hosted the ceremony.

Ms Cai Yonglian, vice president (international) of USST, dean of SBC, gave a welcome speech to all attendees. She extended the best wishes to all women workers and congratulated all award winners on behalf of the women workers’ committee of USST. Ms Zhu LI, vice chairman of the labor union of USST, announced the awarded list.

Prof. Linda Liu, vice vean of SBC, was awarded the “March 8th” Red-banner pace-setter in Shanghai and USST. SBC registry department was awarded the “March 8th” red-banner collective in USST.

Then, Prof. Linda Liu gave an acceptance speech. She first expressed the great gratitude to colleagues for warm working support and shared some of her 25 years of teaching experiences. She also stated that teachers should never forget the responsibilities on their shoulders and sincerely hoped that SBC could continue to support USST on its construction of high-level university.
