On 13th December, SBC was delighted to host a delegation from the School of International Education, Beijing Institute of Technology. Led by Professor Mei Wenbo, Dean of the School of International Education, the delegation also included Lin Jingyi and Jiang Di, the External Affairs Officer and Human Resources Specialist respectively of the School of International Education.
The delegation met with senior colleagues from SBC and were extended a warm welcome by Professor Laura Bishop, Principal of SBC on behalf of the College.

LI Yan, Party Secretary of SBC and Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee,gave an introduction to the programme of student cultivation and cultural activities at SBC for both staff and students.
Professor Liu Qin, Vice Dean of SBC, gave a presentation about SBC, including the model of teaching, student achievements and its plan of activities for the future.
Ms Ge Jiele, Director of Resources and Planning and Head of HR at SBC, gave a brief introduction of the recruitment and management of SBC overseas teachers.
Following the introduction, the delegation engaged in wide-ranging discussions concerning opportunities in cooperation between the two institutions in future. Professor Mei Wenbo was generous in recognising the efforts made by SBC in offering a truly international learning environment to students, and it is hoped that the two institutions can strengthen their links in the future to enhance both the level and quality of their international education.
After the meeting, Professor Liu Qin invited delegation to experience the SBC campus and view the facilities and SBC student societies in innovation and entrepreneurship.
