The 2018 High Arts came into Campus: SSO Small Chamber Concert, hosted by Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, was held on 3rd December at SBC. It was joined by over 400 staff and students in SBC auditorium.
The concert has extended invitations to four professionals from Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, to give wonderful string quartet performance. The programme includes eight pieces of music from different types and countries like the LIN Jiaqing “In The Water Side” and Bach “Arial Sul G”, etc. During the concert, the viola artist also shared some musical instrument knowledge and its cultural backgrounds to the audience. The concert was very well received by SBC staff and students.
In the future, SBC will continue to introduce this kind of “High Arts” come into campus and build a more professional platform for college students to enjoy the world classical culture and the outstanding traditional culture, increases opportunities of theatre practice for students.
