On 16th November, the list of winners in 2018 National Summer Social Practice Competition, co-sponsored by the China Youth League Daily [1] and the People’s Daily Online, has been released online. Thousands of summer social practice team from the colleges across the country has experienced project declaration, qualification screening, online voting, and expert review.
SBC summer social practice team with their project on the Chinese paper cutting, an intangible cultural heritage in China, won the “Most Influential Project” award and “Top 100 Creative Short Videos” award, which was the only winner from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology.
The Chinese paper cutting project was organized by SBC Student Union. 29 Chinese and foreign students has been selected as the main members of this social practice team through selected and interviewed. They went to Xi'an, Yangzhou, Foshan and Shanghai to conduct with the project of Chinese paper cutting protection under the guidance of tutors, analyzed and sorted out the practice research data and finally achieved such an excellent result.
