Fellow students:
In order to improve our students' work skills, exercise students' professional ability, and cultivate students' professionalism and competitiveness, we will hold the Internationalized Professional Ability Competition of Sino-British College, USST. This competition focuses on providing a simulated platform to train our students' job-seeking skills, improve our students' confidence and develop professional ability. At the same time, the competition aims to strengthen the awareness of our students' career planning, focusing on evaluating students' resume creation skills, interview skills, language expression and cross-cultures communication skills. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

2. Competition requirement：
1） Participants: All students of Sino-British College, USST
3. Schedule：
1) Preliminary stage
a. Registration time: November 3rd to November 18th, 2018;
b. Registration method: Deliver the English self-introduction DV to 362331015@qq.com; and submit the bilingual resume to Career@sbc.usst.edu.cn;
c. Contents of the competition: After the contestants submit the resume, the teachers of SBC will select the excellent resumes as the list of players in the rematch stage (the participants do not need to be present at this stage);
d. Results Announcement: The results of the preliminary competition will be sent to the contestants' SBC mailbox by on November 20th.
2) Rematch stage
a. Time: November 30th, 2018;
b. Venue: TB201;
c. Contents of the competition: The contestants will present their personal career or entrepreneurial planning in the form of a PPT presentation.
3）Final Stage
a. Time: December 14th, 2018；
b. Venue: TB201;
c. Contents of the competition: The contestants will once again state their career or entrepreneurial planning, interact with the interviewer, and brainstorm. The interviewer will score according to the performance of the contestants.
4. Selection criteria:
1） Preliminary stage：The candidates for the preliminary competition will be selected by our teachers as auditors.
2） Rematch stage: Candidates with well-organized presentation and fluent language expression can be short-listed.
3） Final stage: Executives from the partner companies and angel investor will evaluate the contestants based on the interview performance.
5. Awards setting:
1） The top four students in the finals will receive internship opportunities from well-known companies and receive a personalized guidance service from a corporate mentor.
2） The finalists will be the reserve players of FESCO Adecco "CEO for One Month" in the coming year, and receive professional quality and skills training.
3） The champion will have the opportunity to visit the UK.

7. Matters needing attention：
1） This competition is based on the principle of fairness and impartiality. Participants should participate in the competition in good faith and eliminate plagiarism.
2） The elimination system is implemented in the competition, which is divided into three stages: preliminary, rematch and final.
3） The details of the rematch and finals need to be notified to the contestants by email and SMS. Please be sure to keep the communication tools open.
4） The final interpretation of this event belongs to SBC Careers Service&Development Centre.
