Launched in 2011, the ‘CEO for One Month’ is designed to offer the young people the opportunity of working as a CEO, and has proven to be a gateway to future professional success. With recommendations from global branches of Adecco Group, outstanding young candidates from all over the world will compete with each other to win the opportunity of working as a CEO at Adecco Group for one month. FESCO Adecco joined this programme since 2015.
This is the second year for FESCO joining in this programme , and there were thousands of university students submitted the application all over China. After resume screening, phone interview, candidate group work, and the one to one interview with Ni Ying, the CEO of FESCO Adecco, in the end, Lin Dian, the 2015 Business Management student from SBC won and joined the “CEO for One Month” programme.
After worked with FESCO Adecco as “CEO for One Month”, Lin Dian will join the contenders from across the world, to compete for the final round of the selection for ‘CEO for One Month’, and to get the top job alongside CEO Alain Dehaze of Adecco Group, and work under the direct supervision and mentorship of Adecco Group CEO.
Kang Yi, Deputy General Manager of FESCO Adecco, said during the interview: "Lin Dian is a young girl with enthusiasm, ability of coping with stress and sense of responsibility, that’s the most important reason for her to be chosen and succeeded. During her work, she showed the great ability of self-learning, communication, and solving problems. No matter how hard it is , she always try to find a way out. These are all the very important qualities a CEO.”
“Our academic teachers use project teaching combined with case studies at SBC, and encourage us to complete the market research and projects writing independently. Currently, there are still many things that I need to learn, such as to understand the position of the industry in the social division of labour, what is the direction and development challenges that we are facing, and how to understand the company's current situation and problems in the operation through communication with subordinates.” Lin Dian said, “whether I can reach the final stage or not, I already learned a lot and had a wonderful summer holiday. It is very important to try to do internship in different areas, it will help you to do your long-term career planning.”
