Student Management

The role of the Student Management Department (SMD) is to provide assistance for students who may need academic or personal support.  Each student is assigned both an academic tutor and a personal tutor. The academic tutor offers suggestions on subject study and study routes while the personal tutor is responsible for taking care of the personal well-being of students. The personal tutor is also responsible for ensuring regular and effective communications between the academic team, students and parents.

The Student Management Department aims to: Promote a high quality education experience, centered on moral education, emphasising creativity, practice and dedication whilst incorporating leadership values from USST and taking into account the unique characteristics of SBC; Help students integrate with different cultures and to cultivate moral standards and codes of practice that correspond with national and international requirements; Build a standardised student management system and implement relevant student management policies designed to maintain a balanced study and living environment on campus.
