On the evening of 4 March, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) representatives visited the Sino-British College (SBC) to deliver a well-received progression and application talk. The delegation included Jasmine Bual, Head of International Student Recruitment; Patty Wang, Regional Head (East Asia); and Eva Guo, Regional Recruitment Manager (East Asia). The session, held in TB 301, was attended by nearly 100 students.

QMUL progression and application talk
Jasmine Bual opened by highlighting the unique advantages of studying in London. She also gave an overview of the university's strong academic reputation, state-of-the-art campus facilities, and strength in fields such as medicine, law, social sciences, and engineering. Eva Guo then provided detailed insights into undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, entry requirements, and how students can best position themselves for competitive applications.
A lively Q&A session followed, with students keen to learn more about course choices, admissions, and campus life. The SBC Overseas Services team also held separate discussions with the QMUL delegation on further enhancing student progression support.
Students responded enthusiastically. Qiao Jing, a Year 1 Mechanical Engineering student, said the talk gave him a much clearer sense of his study abroad options and future direction. Chen Yuxin, a Year 2 Business Management student, noted she was particularly impressed by QMUL’s employability support and plans to explore relevant postgraduate programmes aligned with her background.
The event marked another step in SBC’s ongoing efforts to bring world-class university resources to its students, broaden its international outlook, and strengthen their academic and career pathways.
