On 16 November, the Shanghai College Vitality and Excellence Showcase was grandly held at the Gubei Campus of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. The “SBC Makers” Team RoboVigor, a student robotics club, participated in the evaluation activity and was honoured with the title of “Shanghai University Benchmark Vitality Club”, demonstrating the achievements of the SBC’s scientific and educational initiatives.
Since its establishment in 2016, the “SBC Makers” Team RoboVigor has consistently adhered to the core educational philosophy of “Entrepreneurship and Innovation.” Guided by the five dimensions of “Vision, Foundation, Brand, Achievement, and Impact,” the club has developed a holistic innovation ecosystem centred on “ideological guidance, organisational development, signature activities, competition-driven learning, and community engagement.” With sustained support from USST and SBC, and through years of practice in applying knowledge through competition, the club has achieved outstanding results, securing over ten national-level honours in prestigious events such as the RoboMaster University Series and the RAICOM Robot Developer Competition.

Looking ahead, SBC will continue to deepen the integration of academic learning and extracurricular development. By leveraging university-industry collaborative platforms, real-world corporate projects, cutting-edge technological resources, and industry demands will be embedded throughout the talent cultivation process. Through continuous refinement of an integrated “education-research-application” innovation system, the College aims to nurture more young engineers with international perspectives and the ability to tackle complex engineering challenges. This approach not only injects new momentum into the high-quality development of the University but also contributes meaningfully to national strategies and industrial advancement.
