On the afternoon of 7th January, ZHOU Ying, Director China of DSBP Consultants and Chief Representative of the Dutch Southern Provincial Government Affairs Office, WEI Zhenchen, Project Assistant of DSBP Consultants, visited Sino-British College for discussions on international student recruitment, talent development, and university-enterprise cooperation. CAI Hui, Deputy Party Secretary and Associate Dean of SBC, along with relevant representatives, attended the meeting.

CAI Hui welcomed Zhou Ying and her delegation on behalf of USST-SBC, providing a brief introduction to USST’s history, academic development, and SBC’s unique features and achievements in education, international exchanges, talent cultivation, student recruitment, further studies and employment. She highlighted that since its establishment in 2006, SBC has inherited the University’s internationalised education gene and adopted the 1-to-N consortium model. The College has drawn upon successful international higher education experiences and high-quality educational resources, developing a large number of talents with a strong sense of national responsibility, global perspectives and cross-cultural communication skills. CAI Hui hoped that both sides could fully leverage their resources and collaborate more deeply in talent development, international student recruitment, summer school programme, university-enterprise cooperation, internships and employment, in order to further promote the College’s high-quality development.

ZHOU Ying expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and provided a brief introduction of DSBP Consultants. She noted that SBC has achieved remarkable success in collaborative education, demonstrating strong capabilities and excellent results in talent development models and educational innovation. The College has become a successful model for Sino-British educational exchange and cooperation. Zhou Ying expressed her hope that this meeting would serve as an opportunity to strengthen mutual cooperation in talent development, international student recruitment, cultural exchanges, and university-business partnerships, aiming to jointly create influential brand projects.

After the meeting, the delegation from DSBP Consultants toured the History Pavilion at the Fuxing Road campus.
