Dr. Nicoleen Johnson, Lecturer at the School of Business and Management at SBC, has received two high recognitions.
She received an award of honour from the Jamaican government in recognition of outstanding service in the areas of service to education in China and service to the Jamaican diaspora in China. The award was made through the Embassy of Jamaica in Beijing on August 6, 2024.

On the same day, Sheffield Hallam University, one of SBC's partner universities, announced Dr. Nicoleen Johnson as the winner of 2023/24 Inspirational Teaching Award. Even more remarkably, Dr. Johnson is a twice recipient of this award, winning also the 2022/23 award (together with Dr. Jack Ilmonen) last year.
Dr. Nicoleen Johnson joined SBC in September of 2021. She came to China in 1997, received her master and Ph.D. degrees in International Relations from Fudan University.
