Delegation from the University of Bradford visitsed the Sino-British College

On the morning of March 18th, the delegation of four led by Wesley Hackett, Associate Director, International Recruitment and Partnerships of University of Bradford, visited SBC for discussions and exchanges on postgraduate programmes, international recruitment, talent development, and research cooperation. Rupert Ward, Executive Dean of SBC, and Shan Yanguang, Vice Dean of SBC, participated in the discussion.

Rupert Ward warmly welcomed Wesley Hackett and his team, providing a brief overview of the College's profile and distinctive features. He expressed sincere gratitude for the long-standing concern and support from the University of Bradford towards the development of the College. He also emphasized that SBC adheres to an open-door policy, enhancing its internationalisation and talent development capacity through diversified international exchanges and cooperation, importing high-quality educational resources worldwide. In recent years, the College has continuously optimized its recruitment structure of free-entry students, gradually increasing the proportion of FE students in Engineering. He hoped that both parties would actively engage in wider and deeper educational cooperation in areas including postgraduate programmes, talent development and research cooperation.

Wesley Hackett expressed his gratitude for the warm reception of SBC. He appreciated the outstanding achievements of the college in talent development, scientific research and international accreditation. He also introduced the academic departments, advantageous majors, curriculum arrangements and international exchanges at the University of Bradford. He hoped that this visit would further strengthen the cooperation between the both parties in high-level programmes, scientific research, faculty and student exchanges, talent development and more, injecting new impetus into the high-quality development of SBC.
