Students new to SBC enter a new and exciting phase of study life and are faced with unfamiliar and varied styles of study and learning. In addition, they must choose from different pathway options: 2+2, 2+1+1 or 4+0. It is to be expected that students will want to ask lots of questions!
The OS Department arranges individual appointments with all students who have an overseas study plan to discuss their options and answer any questions.
In October of the new semester, students receive invitation letters asking them to attend a meeting with their parents arranged for a date in November or December. It is to be preferred that all parties meet face-to-face but discussions can be held over the phone if this is not possible.
At this time, students may also make an appointment to meet with an OS tutor to ask any specific questions.
