On the18th May, the USST “High-quality Student Base” Signing Ceremony was held in Wuxi Furen Senior High School (hereinafter referred to as Furen Senior High School). Shan Yanguang, Vice-Dean of SBC and Zhao Ying, Director of the Academic Affairs Office of Furen Senior High School attended the ceremony. Dai Qijiang, Deputy Director of Principal’s Office, Senior Leader of Senior Three, Director of Student Recruitment of Furen Senior High School and Domestic Student Recruitment and PR and Marketing of SBC also attended the ceremony.
Zhao Ying warmly welcomed visitors from SBC, and briefly introduced the history, faculty and teaching construction of Furen Senior High School. She mentioned that Furen Senior High School is committed to sending more high-level innovative talents to our country by inheriting the tradition of being inspired by knowledge and enhancing virtue with friends. The establishment of cooperative relationship with the Sino-British College of USST is also an affirmation and incentive for Furen Senior High School. Furen Senior High School will also continue to provide general high school education and send more talents to colleges and universities.
Shan Yanguang fully expressed his gratitude and introducedthe school history, programme advantages, course characteristics and talent education of USST and the college history, school-running scale, course establishment, recruitment and employment, student development of SBC. He mentioned that Furen Senior High School, an experimental, exemplary, high-quality and characteristically modern window school, has a good social reputation. He hoped that both sides will take this signing as an opportunity to jointly cultivate high-quality and innovative talents and further improve the education level of both schools.
After the ceremony, Shan Yanguang had a campus tour with staff from Furen Senior High School.
