On the 19th May, the USST “High-quality Student Base” Signing Ceremony was held in Yangzhou High School. Shan Yanguang, Vice-Dean of SBC and Zhang Yiqun, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission of Yangzhou High School attended the ceremony. Directors of Domestic Student Recruitment and PR and Marketing of SBC also attended the ceremony.
Zhang Yiqun warmly welcomed visitors from SBC, and briefly introduced the history, campus culture and teaching construction of Yangzhou High School. He mentioned that Yangzhou High School has intensified its reform, accelerated the pace of development, comprehensively implementing quality education and strengtheninginfrastructure in recent years. He believed that the cooperation with USST will promote the modernization of education and improve the quality and benefit of education.
Shan Yanguang fully expressed his gratitude and introduced in detail the school history, programme advantages, course characteristics and talent education of USST as well as the college history, school-running scale, course establishment, recruitment and employment, student development of SBC. He mentioned that Yangzhou High School has cultivated many top talents in the past 100 years since its establishment, which has made great contributions to the talent cultivation of colleges and universities and even the revitalization of China. He hoped that with the basis of the High-quality Student Base, both schools will adhere to the common goal, continue to enhance fine education tradition, and be dedicated to promoting the integration of general high school education with higher education, creating more brilliant achievements.
After the ceremony, Shan Yanguang had a campus tour with staff from Yangzhou High School.
The signing of the High-quality Student Base greatly enhanced the influence of USST in middle schools in Yangzhou, laid a solid foundation for cultivating and attracting excellent students, and steadily promoted the construction of a High-quality Student Base.
