On the 20th May, the USST “High-quality Student Base” Signing Ceremony was held in Xidian High School Attached to Xidian University. Xu Lin, Deputy Secretary of General Party Branch, Associate Dean of Administration of SBC and Wu Heng, Vice President of Xidian High School Attached to Xidian University attended the ceremony. Zhou Jing, Vice President of Xidian High School Attached to Xidian University and Directors of Domestic Student Recruitment and PR and Marketing of SBC also attended the ceremony.
Wu Heng warmly welcomed visitors from SBC, and briefly introduced the school history, cultivation objectives, and student achievements. He mentioned that USST is a century-old university with a long history and an outstanding reputation. Xidian High School Attached to Xidian University will take this signing as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation and exchanges with USST, carry out practical cooperation in mathematical modeling, robot competition, artificial intelligence, lecturer training, recruitment and employment, and make contributions to student education with USST. They also welcome outstanding graduates from the USST to actively apply for middle school teachers of Xidian High School Attached to Xidian University.
Xu Lin fully expressed her gratitude to Xidian High School Attached to Xidian University for sending so many outstanding students to USST and introducedthe school history, school-running characteristics of USST as well as its remarkable achievements in discipline construction, faculty construction, scientific research and internationalisation in recent years. She also introduced in detail the college history, development objectives, course characteristics, enrolment and employment, innovation education platform and student development of SBC. She said that by establishing the “High-quality Student Base” in Xidian High School attached to Xidian University, the influence and reputation of USST will be enhanced and more high-quality students will be attracted to apply to USST. USST will use its own advantages and provide all-round services and support for Xidian High School attached to Xidian University in quality education, ability cultivation, language training, scientific research and middle school teacher training.
After the ceremony, Xu Lin had a campus tour with staff from Xidian High School Attached to Xidian University.
