On the 28th May, the USST “High-quality Student Base” Signing Ceremony was held in Taiyuan Foreign Language School. Shan Yanguang, Vice-Dean of SBC and Wu Fanwang, President of Taiyuan Foreign Language School attended the ceremony. Shi Zhen, Director of the Academic Affairs Office and Directors of Domestic Student Recruitment and PR and Marketing of SBC also attended the ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Shi Zhen.
Wu Fanwang warmly welcomed visitors from SBC, and briefly introduced the history, discipline construction and student development of Taiyuan Foreign Language School. He mentioned that this school boasts the scientific administrative system, a strong faculty, advanced equipment and high teaching quality. In cooperation with USST, he hoped that we can better connect higher education and general high school education, and make Taiyuan Foreign Language School a national first-class foreign school.
Shan Yanguang fully expressed his gratitude and introduced the school history, programme advantages, course characteristics and talent education of USST as well as the college history, Chinese-foreign cooperative education, course characteristics, recruitment and employment, innovation cultivation, student development of SBC. He warmly welcomed teachers and students of Taiyuan Foreign Language School to visit USST. He expressed that Taiyuan Foreign Language School has a long history, a strong academic atmosphere and students have a strong sense of innovation and excellent comprehensive quality. He hopes that many high-quality graduates go to USST in the coming years as well as hoping that both sides will take this signing as an opportunity to attract more outstanding students to USST, and to bring more talents to our country and society.
After the ceremony, Shan Yanguang had a campus tour with staff from Taiyuan Foreign Language School.
This ceremony lays a solid foundation for the expansion of cooperation between Taiyuan Foreign Language School and USST to further mutual communication, increase school influence and improve student recruitment and personnel training.
