SBC T1 Scholarship Programme Introduction
To attract and select Tier 1 students (Domestic students who achieved First grade of Gaokao Score from The National Higher Education Entrance Examination, commonly known as Gaokao), the Sino-British College has implemented the “T1 Programme” since 2015. We applied strict academic criteria. In the past 5 months we have screened and chosen from 1,000 applicants across China including Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Xi’an, Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Fuzhou, Hefei, Changsha and Shenyang. And 2018 we have 38 participants from 30 high schools in 9 provinces and municipalities, Tier 1 students also has achieved at least 60 marks in the SBC entrance examination.
The aim of T1 Programme is to invite Tier 1 students to experience the characteristics and advantages of British education. From the inside and outside of class, interactions between students and teachers, and cultural experiences, the Sino-British College will demonstrate the numerous possibilities of becoming a talent here. The T1 Programme, consists of three key elements: Scholarship, Student Mentor Programme and T-Week.
T1 Scholarship Programme will granted to Tier 1 students this year, 10% of annual tuition fee, which is RMB 8,000; and the Excellence Scholarship, granted to the top 2 students in the T-week, which is RMB 40,000.
