On 13th April, Ding Xiaodong, President of University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, with a senior delegation from USST visited SBC. Professor Tian Weifeng, Vice-President of USST and Dean of SBC with members of SBC executive team met with the officials on their arrival.
On behalf of SBC, Professor Tian Weifeng extended a warm welcome to the officials. She said “SBC would respond positively to the policies for building high quality universities, and our vision is to be renowned as an international hub and centre of excellence, attracting students and faculty from all over the world with a reputation for developing socially responsible and innovative leaders capable of operating in different cultures.”
Vice-Dean Linda Liu gave an introduction of SBC, including the establishment, international model of teaching and its plan of activities for the future. Secretary Li Yan gave a presentation about SBC campus construction plan.
President Ding Xiaodong highly recognized the efforts made by SBC in developing socially responsible and innovative leaders and offering a truly international learning environment to students.
