SBC welcomes senior delegation from the Shanghai Education Committee

On 2nd January, a senior delegation from the Shanghai Education Committee, visited The Sino-British College (SBC). Mr Ni Minjing, Deputy Director of Shanghai Education Committee, was accompanied by: Cheng Peiyuan, Deputy Director of Shanghai Education Committee Lifelong Education Office; Zhanglin, Dean of the School of Continuing Education, USST; Wangyan, Vice-Dean of the School of Continuing Education, USST. Members of USST and SBC executive team met with the officials on their arrival, including Professor Tian Weifeng, Vice-President of USST and Dean of SBC, Professor John Wilson, Principal and CEO of SBC, Dr Liu Bin, Secretary of the Joint General Party Branch and Deputy Director of Campus Management Committee, USST, Professor Linda Liu, Vice-Dean of SBC and the representatives from SBC administrative team attended this conference.

On behalf of SBC, Professor John Wilson extended a warm welcome to the officials. Then Professor Linda Liu gave a brief introduction on recent development of SBC and the NCUK Pre-Masters Programme Project in 2018. Following the presentation, in-depth discussions were held on the route selections, academic resources and related policies of this programme. After the conference, Professor Tian Weifeng and Dr Liubin invited the officials to experience the SBC campus and view the facilities.

Mr Ni Minjing highly recognised the efforts made by SBC in offering a truly international learning environment to students and kindly advised on certain aspects of its Pre-Masters Programme Project plans.
